  At a regular press conference on the afternoon of the 9th,spokesperson for the Ministry of Commerce,Gao Feng,stated that at the invitation of the United States,Liu He,a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee,Vice Premier of the State Council,and Chinese leader of the China US Comprehensive Economic Dialogue,will lead a delegation to visit Washington from the 13th to the 15th of this month to sign the first phase of the economic and trade agreement with the United States.The teams of both parties are in close communication on the specific arrangements for signing the agreement.
  The import quota for the second batch of copper and aluminum scrap in 2020 is 7544 tons
  On January 8,2020,the China Solid Waste Chemicals Management Network announced the second batch of import quotas for copper and aluminum waste in 2020.Among them,26566 tons of copper waste and scrap materials were involved,and 7544 tons of imported aluminum waste and scrap materials were involved,with a significant decrease compared to the previous month.In addition,there are 3180 tons of imported scrap steel.

  Türkiye decides to continue to impose 22%anti-dumping duty on China's aluminum foil
  On January 4,2020,the Ministry of Trade of Türkiye issued Announcement 2019/34,making the first final antidumping sunset review on aluminum foil with a thickness of≤0.2mm originating in China,and deciding to continue to impose an antidumping duty of 22%on Chinese aluminum foil.This case involves products under Türkiye's tax number 7607.11 and some products under tax number 7607.19.

  Minfa Aluminum Industry announced that on January 5,2020,the company received a"Share Transfer Framework Agreement"signed by the controlling shareholder and actual controller Mr.Huang Tianhuo,as well as the concerted actors Huang Changyuan,Huang Yindian,Huang Wenle,Huang Wenxi,and Huang Xiulan,with Shangrao Chengtou.Huang Tianhuo and the concerted actors will jointly transfer no more than 29.99%of the total share capital of the listed company to Shangrao Chengtou,The specific transfer ratio is based on meeting the lower limit of Shangrao City Investment's actual control of the listed company.The specific number of shares to be transferred shall be subject to the formal share transfer agreement signed by all parties.If the transfer is successfully completed,Huang Tianhuo will no longer be the controlling shareholder and actual controller of the company.Shangrao City Investment will become the controlling shareholder of the company,and the actual controller of the company will be changed to the State owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of Shangrao City.

  On the morning of January 6th,the groundbreaking ceremony was held for the aluminum alloy new material project of Lizhong Group located in Caidian District,Wuhan.Lizhong Wheel Group plans to invest approximately 600 million yuan,acquire approximately 118 acres of land in the Caidian Economic Development Zone,build an intelligent manufacturing factory with an annual output of 3 million high-end cast aluminum alloy wheels,and develop and manufacture aluminum alloy wheels and precision molds for wheels.After the project is fully put into operation,it can achieve an annual sales revenue of about 700 million yuan and tax revenue of up to 30 million yuan.Lizhong Alloy Group plans to invest approximately 400 million yuan,acquire approximately 70 acres of land in the Caidian Economic Development Zone,and build a green manufacturing factory with an annual output of 100000 tons of new aluminum alloy lightweight materials for automobiles.This project mainly focuses on the research and development,manufacturing of cast aluminum alloys,deformed aluminum alloys,and aluminum based functional intermediate alloys.The project is divided into two phases of construction.

  TBJ Mining Company in Indonesia has been washing bauxite since the end of last month.A source from the company revealed that they have processed about 55000 tons of bauxite,with Al2O3 47%min SiO2 10%max,and are currently preparing for export.They plan to produce around 150000 tons in January.Its annual production capacity is 2 million tons,and it has three mining areas in Xinji Island,with an estimated reserve of around 60 million tons.Last July,they obtained an export quota of 2.2 million tons of bauxite and plan to produce around 2 million tons this year.In 2019,they did not process water washed bauxite.
